The Pullus Haložan Orange (2025) is a highly approachable, refreshing skin-contact white wine (orange wine) produced by Ptujska Klet, one of Europe's oldest operational wineries (dating back to 1239) located in the Štajerska region of Slovenia. Packaged in a generous, traditional 1-liter bottle, this wine is affectionately nicknamed an "orange wine of the people" because it bypasses overly harsh or funky oxidative traits in favor of vibrant, easy-drinking fruit and clean texture.
Taste Profile
- Color: A glowing, rustic amber-orange or copper-gold hue (it may appear slightly cloudy due to minimal intervention).
- Nose: Incredibly aromatic and fresh. Forward notes of ripe stone fruits (apricot, peach), wild herbs, tangerine pith, citrus peel, and a distinct top note of floral Muscat layered with a subtle graphite minerality.
