Product Detail

The Pullus Pinot Grigio (2024) is a dry, skin-contact "orange wine" from the Štajerska region of Slovenia. Unlike many lighter Italian Pinot Grigios, this version has a distinctive copper or salmon color, a richer flavor profile, and a more complex body. Its characteristics are a result of extended skin maceration and aging on the lees.

Flavor Profile

  • Aroma: The 2024 vintage offers a bouquet of pear, green melon, nectarine, and almonds, with a subtle minerality.
  • Flavor profile: On the palate, this is a fresh and fruity yet dry wine with a full, creamy, and complex body. It has a balanced acidity and a persistent, long finish.
  • Vinification: The winemakers macerate the hand-picked grapes with their skins for up to 72 hours, which gives the wine its unique color and richer flavor. The wine is then aged on the lees for 6 months in stainless steel tanks.
